Gladstone Hosts Jeweler Gabriella Kiss

Posted

This weekend, Gladstone, the jewelry boutique and gallery in Manchester, will be hosting a trunk show with nationally renowned fine jewelry designer, Gabriella Kiss. The designer will be present to meet with guests and preview her collection from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1.

“When you focus on a small detail it can evoke a whole world unto itself.”

Gabriella Kiss’s work blends master craftsmanship with a poetic imagination in jewelry that draws people into the small scale. The results are finely detailed art pieces with purity of form and movement. “I try to make pieces that have a narrative, or a context that can carry humor, sentiment, or some sort of commentary on the human condition,” says Kiss.

The daughter of a physicist, Gabriella’s foremost design inspiration has always been the natural world. Gabriella studied sculpture at Pratt Institute, where she learned the ancient process of lost-wax casting, allowing her to capture the intricate details that her designs command.

Crafted in 18k gold and unusual gemstones, Gabriella’s work embodies a simple elegance and quiet aesthetic that resonate with her following of collectors.  Her extensive offering of signature stacking rings, earrings, and necklaces are undeniably covetable.

For everyone’s safety during this time, Gladstone will be adhering to protocols for social distancing, limiting entrance to two attendees at a given time.  All guests will be asked to wear a face covering, and the jewelry and gallery surfaces will be sanitized before and after handling.

Walk-ins are welcome (provided the space is not at capacity), however, appointments are encouraged.  The gallery is located at 36 ½ Union Street.
