Elizabeth Ann MacNeil passed away on Saturday, November 21 at Gloucester Healthcare, where she lived for several years.
Ann was born at the Addison Gilbert Hospital in 1940. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Clarence MacNeil and Elizabeth Backry. She grew up in Pigeon Cove and later moved Manchester as a young girl. She worked at the Singing Beach Club for many years. A spirited
lady… she will be remembered for her sharp memory and her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her sister, Christine Moore of Rockport; her niece, Abigail Potter Moore and her husband Dammon of Lynnfield; nephew, David Edson and his wife Francesca Castagnoli and their sons, Conrad and Dashiell of Montclair, New Jersey.
Her family would like to thank all the caregivers at Gloucester Healthcare, who gave her such loving care throughout her time there.
There will be a private graveside service in Locust Grove Cemetery.
