Christopher R. Tzortzis, 36, son of Andrew N. and Maria C. (Lander) Tzortzis of Lufkin Street, Essex and formerly of Ipswich, died suddenly in Ipswich on Monday, March 16, 2020.
Born in Danvers on January 18, 1984, Chris was raised in Ipswich, a graduate of Ipswich High School. For many years he worked as a painter and carpenter with his father, spending his working days improving the homes of others. Christopher enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with his father and brother and the warmth of the beach in the summer. He had a wonderful personality and always made people feel welcome and comfortable when speaking with them.
In addition to his loving father and mother, Chris is survived by a brother, Nick Tzortzis and his wife Brianna of Essex.
A private funeral service was held Thursday, March 19, 2020 in the Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Ipswich followed by interment in the New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich.
