Dear Editor:
I want to thank Manchester’s voters for reelecting me to another term as moderator. It is an honor to serve the town, and I am grateful for the support I received at the polls last week. My enthusiasm for the job is as high as it was when I was first elected, but I hope our next town meeting will not take place in the fog. I also thank those who worked at the polls, especially those who stayed well into the evening to count write-in ballots.
My congratulations go to the other candidates who stood for election. Manchester depends on the work of many volunteers to conduct the town’s business, and their contributions are substantial. I look forward to working with the newly constituted boards in the year ahead.
Sincerely yours,
Alan Wilson
