Applications for the 2020 Rotary scholarship are now available to graduating high school seniors who attend either Manchester-Essex Regional High School or have parent(s) or legal guardian(s) residing in Manchester or Essex, Massachusetts. Ideal candidates are those who embody Rotary's motto of "Service Above Self," demonstrating leadership, integrity and academic success in either their school or community. To be considered, applicants must be enrolling as full-time students in a degree-granting program in the fall of 2020.
Applications are available online at the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club’s website or through the MERHS Guidance Office. Completed applications must include a copy of the applicant’s high school transcript, SAR/FAFSA info, and two letters of recommendation.
The application deadline is March 31, and applications are to be mailed to Manchester-Essex Rotary Club, P.O. Box 403, Manchester, MA 01944.
The Manchester-Essex Rotary Club has been able to distribute $10,000 in scholarships each year for the past several years as a result of successful fundraising efforts through the annual Kentucky Derby Auction in May and annual golf tournament in October, as well as through the generosity of its members and our community.
