The falling temperature of Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday, rendered the days more enjoyable, although rain would be appreciated and be of benefit to vegetation which in some cases is becoming quite dry.
Daniel Sutherland of Alaska, who is a delegate to Congress, accompanied by his sister, Miss Abby Sutherland principal of the Orgortz School for Girls in Pennsylvania, have been enjoying a visit in Essex this week with friends.
