The Manchester-Essex Gridiron Club hosted the Manchester football team, coaches and players’ parents at the annual Gridiron Club Jeff Gilson Backyard Cookout following the team’s first preseason scrimmage at Newburyport. The team looks strong, bolstered by a sizable group of returning veterans. The Gridiron Club has donated over $100,000 to Manchester-Essex youth sports over the past 10 years and remains hard at work supporting youth sports.
