White Caps on White Beach

SATURDAY 3:20 p.m.

White Beach, Manchester

Last Saturday’s weather was predicted to be a doozy, with high winds and clouds rolling in.  Well, the winds sure showed up, but so did the sun.  It was a relatively mild temperature for early March, and with the winds and tides just so, out came surfers in their wetsuits from Good Harbor Beach to Beverly Cove.  By afternoon, Singing Beach proved to be too rough for many.  But White Beach at Kettle Cove was—as Goldilocks might say—“just right.”  Sunny, with white spray shooting off white capped waves, many a surfer caught many a wave.  Among our many beautiful shots (taken on a handy cell phone) was this one.  One surfer heading out.  Another riding in.
