This modern home in Gloucester with views of Essex Bay was featured by Boston Home in the fall. It was designed and built by Carpenter & MacNeille, the Essex firm just named “Best Custom Home Design/Build, North.”
Architectural and building firm Carpenter & MacNeille was named as a 2020 Best of Boston Home recipient. The award was granted at a reception earlier in December 2019 at the Boston Design Center at a gathering of more than 300 of the region’s top home professionals.
This is the fifth time the firm has been recognized with the distinction given annually by the editors of Boston Home. The 2020 award recognizes the firm as “Best Custom Home Design/Build, North,” including a spotlight feature in the winter edition of the magazine with architect and founding principal Rob MacNeille and site supervisor Mark Pellegrini.
Established in 1996, Carpenter & MacNeille designs, restores and builds award-winning homes throughout the greater Boston region, New England and beyond. The firm is comprised of more than forty individuals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
