115 Years Ago – 1917
Wednesday evening some 30 members and guests sat down to a clam chowder at G.A.R. hall furnished at the expense of the floor members of the Sons of Veterans pitch team, who lost to the past commanders Granville Crombie was chef, and a most social evening was spent.
90 Years Ago – 1932
The Agassiz Nature Club will meet with Mrs. Mary Baker on Friend Street Saturday evening at 8 o’clock. “Flower Arrangement” and “Fashions in Gardening” will be the subjects discussed.
