Fred A. Carpenter met with an accident while at his work at the car barn, injuring his knee so severely as to confine him to his home for several weeks, Dr. Haige is attending him.

90 Years Ago – 1932

Alden Burnham has been laid up for several days as the result of a severe cut on his leg caused by a slip of a broad axe with which he was hewing a timber in A.D. Story’s shipyard. A long, deep gash was made requiring several stitches to close the wound.
