The report of the Board of Health for year 1905 shows the following numbers of cases of contagious diseases: diphtheria 3 cases,, all recovered; typhoid fever, 1 case, recovered; measles, 32 cases, recovered; cerebro-spinal meningitis 1 case, fatal.
90 Years Ago – 1931
“Neighbors Night” was observed Wednesday evening by the Essex Grange when delegations were presented from the Wenham, Hamilton, Topsfield and Rowley Granges, the visiting members furnishing apart of the entertainment program.
