A dealer in poultry was in town from Cambridge the first of the week offering larger prices than any one has done for fowls, indicating that they may be a scarcity in the market.
Essex Annual Town meeting was held Monday evening and was disposed of in quick order with Wilfred W. Lufkin in the chair as moderator.
