115 Years Ago – 1908

Sunday was an exceedingly hot day, the mercury standing between 80 and 90 nearly all day with southwesterly wind, at 7 p.m. the temperature registered 80 degrees and on Monday at the same hour just 50.

90 Years Ago – 1933

The Manchester ambulance was called Friday afternoon to remove Edgar Bushey to the Beverly Hospital who was severely injured while working in a gravel pit on the Manchester Road by a rock rolling down upon him.
