A bad place on the street or in fact two of them, one near the residence of Edward F. Knowlton and the other by the car track near the Falls school should receive attention of the highway surveyors.  A day or two ago a loaded team became stuck at the first mentioned spot which the two strong horses attached were utterly unable to move until the owner with others, after digging and otherwise assisting, turned the animals in the other direction.

The large three masted schooner Ruby Adams which was finished here during the World War by A. Dana Story is soon to enter the West Indies trade under the command of Capt. Louis Kennedy, her owner.  She was on the stocks here a long time, work being delayed on her a number of times.  She is 164 feet over all, 32 feet beam and spreads 10,000 sq. ft. of canvas.
