Last month in Woburn, the 2009 North Shore NEHL (New England Hockey League) All-Stars won the league championship with an impressive 6-1 win over their rival, the Middlesex All-Stars.
The North Shore team is made up of the best 2009 birth-year players, who live on the North Shore and play in the Valley League. Players on this team came from Gloucester, Danvers, Reading, and Manchester, to name a few. The team was coached by Manchester resident Josh Caplan (and he won’t say it, but his son Owen Caplan was one of the team’s leading scorers.) Congratulations to the entire team. This is a big group accomplishment!
