MOODS OF THE SEA CONCERT

Cape Ann Symphony continues the Musicians Unleashed Concert Series with Moods of the Sea Concert, on Sunday, February 8, at 3 p.m. at The St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1123 Washington Street, Gloucester. 

Manchester porcelain sculptor Anna Kasabian will have her sculptures in three different juried exhibits this month and next. This year, Cape Ann Plein Air (CAPA) will celebrate a major milestone—ten years of bringing plein air painters from around the US (and sometimes internationally) to Cape Ann every October to paint Cape Ann life for one week in a competition and art festival that has become one of America’s largest plein air art events.

Poet and Manchester native Sarah Beckmann has released a second collection of poetry, The Race for Daphne, published by Finishing Line Press.  The new collection follows Beckmann’s 2021 publishing debut, Naiad Blood, in which she explored life, especially life on the water, doing what she loves—rowing.
