To the Editor,
In a small town like Manchester, strong local leadership makes a significant difference. The individuals we elect to serve on boards and committees help shape the tone, values, and direction of our community. That’s why we’re supporting Sarah Davis for Library Trustee.
We’ve had the good fortune to know Sarah as a neighbor and friend. She’s a dedicated mother, a clear thinker, and someone who cares deeply about our schools, our library, and the broader challenges facing the town. Whether through her legal work or volunteer efforts, she approaches issues with care, fairness, and a steady hand.
Collaboration and thoughtful decision-making are essential in any leadership role, especially one that serves the whole community. Sarah listens attentively, asks insightful questions, and seeks to understand all perspectives before taking a position. This kind of approach fosters trust and helps advance conversations.
She’s also clear-eyed about the needs and realities our town is facing. With so many capital projects competing for limited resources - like the PFAS response, a new DPW facility, and a senior center—our library must have strong, strategic advocates. As a lawyer, Sarah understands how to navigate complexity, balance competing priorities, and advocate effectively for what matters.
Sarah advocates for thoughtful renovation and expansion of the library to enhance accessibility, increase community space (especially important following the loss of the Community Center), and update our aging technology. With federal support for libraries declining, she is dedicated to ensuring the library continues to serve our families, seniors, and students.
Sarah’s genuine desire to serve Manchester has made her an outstanding Library Trustee. Please join us in supporting her with your vote.
