Vote for Dru

To the Editor,

I’m writing in support of Dru Tarr’s candidacy for Representative for our district in the upcoming special election.

Dru’s experience with budgetary issues alone is the qualification that makes him a clear choice for me.  He’s the only one of the three candidates who is aware of the big budget picture of how reductions in Federal dollars combined with proposed reduction in the State income tax will affect line items on the upcoming budget and the quality of life for those of us on Cape Ann.

And more than that, he knows these money issues aren’t political abstractions–they’re live, current, and competitive struggles in the legislature, calling for someone with Dru’s experience.  We’re talking about significant infrastructure projects that affect business expansion and education, housing and energy programs that will shape the future in our communities.

Dru’s emphasis on a positive set of constructive goals that will actually make a difference and his experience in how to make them happen is why I encourage you to chose him in the upcoming election.
