Thanks for a Great “Manchester on Your Bike” Event

To the Editor,

On behalf of the Manchester-by-the-Sea Bike & Pedestrian Committee, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the community and local businesses for helping make our MANCHESTER ON YOUR BIKE pre-concert rides a success.

Over the course of nine weeks, neighbors and friends explored Manchester.  From our Introduction to the Beaches ride, to Exploring Friendly Trailheads, to touring Historic Sights, Counting Longevity Benches, Playgrounds & Picnics, Trailheads Colburn to Dexter, and even the Chebacco Easy Bike Trails, together we viewed our town in short one-hour rides. Each fun ride brought fresh perspectives, new conversations, and a sense of local connection.

We also wish to thank businesses and organizations, Manchester Parks and Recreation, Longevity Bench Project, Riverside Cycles, The MAC, Utopia, Crosby’s Allen’s, Ace Hardware Store, Richdale (“Sea Breeze Variety”), 76 Summer Street Offices, MBTS Post Office and the Library among others for their support. By hosting our flyers and providing materials, you helped us bring riders together.

And of course, thank you to all who rode with us this summer.  Your enthusiasm and energy made Tuesday afternoons memorable.  We look forward to rolling out more rides, walks and community events in the future.

Sincerely,

The Manchester-by-the-Sea Bike & Pedestrian Committee
