OLIVE GARDEN
On Friday, February 6th, the Manchester COA is offering a trip to the Olive Garden in Danvers. Olive Garden is an American casual dining restaurant chain that specializes in Italian American cuisine. Join us for your pasta fix. The van will start picking up seniors around 11:00 a.m.
LUNCH at the MAPLE STREET BISTRO
On Tuesday, February 10th, the Manchester Council on Aging is offering a trip to The Maple Street Bistro for a delicious lunch. The Maple Street Bistro is the student-run restaurant at Essex Tech Vocational School in Danvers. You will be served a starter, entrée, roll, beverage, and dessert. Let us know if you want Tri-Color Chicken Tortellini with creamy vodka sauce, Pan-Seared Chicken Breast with Dijon cream sauce or Herb-Roasted Salmon with lemon & splash of white wine. The cost of lunch is $19 per person. The van will start picking up seniors around 10:15 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. lunch reservation. Return is expected by 1:30 p.m.
CAPE ANN LANES
On Wednesday, February 11th, the Manchester Council on Aging is pleased to offer a trip to Cape Ann Lanes in Gloucester. Enjoy a few strings of candlepin bowling. No experience needed. Get some exercise and have fun and laughs in return. The costs are $3.50 per person per string, $4.00 shoe rental. The van will start picking up seniors at 10:30 a.m.
PUTNAM PANTRY
On Friday, February 13th, the Manchester Council on Aging is offering a trip to Putnam Pantry in Danvers. Enjoy their famous ice cream smorgasbord or have a sandwich at the café and don’t forget to pick up some treats for Valentine’s Day. The van will start picking up seniors around 11:00 a.m. Return is expected by 2:00 p.m.

Walking at the Bennett Center
It’s indoor walking at the Bennett Center at Gordon College! This program is offered through the Hamilton—Wenham Recreation Department and is available to Manchester seniors. The walking pass is free of charge, but registration is required, both to enter the Bennett Center and to get a seat on the Manchester COA van for transportation to and from Wenham.
Lap Swimming Passes
Also, at the Bennett Center at Gordon College, enjoy a program designed for swimming laps in the Bennett Center’s amazing Olympic- sized swimming pool. This program is offered through the Hamilton – Wenham Recreation Department and is available to Manchester seniors. Registration is re- quired but there is a charge: a lap swim pass is $80 for 20 visits. You must register and receive a pass before participating in the program, and you must register with the COA for a seat on the van for transportation to and from the center in Wenham. Call the COA office for info and registration.
