In Manchester-by-the-Sea on Sunday, Santa Claus made his last public appearance prior to returning to the North Pole and resting for his big around-the-world trip the evening of December 24.
He was escorted by engines from the Manchester Fire Department, and was given a ride in the back of a vintage truck borrowed from the town of Rockport to visit all parts of the town with a police and fire escort. Santa made sure to greet the fans lining the streets with boxes of animal crackers.
