Nicholas Joseph Loffredo, 79, of Portland, ME, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 3rd. He was predeceased by his parents, Angela Lena Nicolosi Loffredo and Nicholas J. Loffredo Sr., and leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Shirley Thibedeau Loffredo, his sons, Brett Loffredo and his wife Keaven Hartt, and Adam Loffredo and his wife Susannah Loffredo, three grandsons, Sam, Hank, & Vinny Loffredo, and his sisters Linda Giolito, of Duxbury, MA, and Joanne Miele, of Manchester, NH, and brothers Richard Loffredo, of Rotonda West, FL, and Larry Loffredo, of Philmont, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Nick was born on February 19th, 1944 in Lawrence, MA, studied Mechanical Engineering at Lowell Tech, in Lowell, MA, and served in the US Army Reserves. He and Shirley met and raised their family on the North Shore of MA, where he also started and grew several businesses over the years.
Nick was a faithful Patriots fan, and an amateur carpenter and woodworker.

Family and Friends are welcome at a Celebration of Life to be held at the Manchester American Legion, 14 Church St., Manchester-by-the-Sea, on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, from noon to 4 p.m.
