To the Editor,
We will not hold a Pre-Town Meeting before the Special Town Meeting on November 14. The purpose of the Pre-Town Meeting is to consider procedural questions and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Town Meeting. Most of the Warrant articles relate to proposed amendments to the Town’s Zoning By-law, and I have consulted regularly with members of the Planning Board and town counsel about their procedural aspects. The other articles are procedurally straightforward and, in my opinion, do not require a meeting.
