MBTS COA: Support for Us, Support for You

The Friends of the Manchester Council on Aging (Friends of the COA) is pleased to have received a $1,000 award from Bank Gloucester’s “2025 Banking for the Community Award” program that benefits nonprofit community organizations on Cape Ann.  The Friends of the COA are using the funds to purchase snacks and beverages for their weekly event called Coffee and Conversation.

The Friends of the Manchester Council on Aging is an all-volunteer organization that raises funds to support the Council on Aging and its programming.  Three years ago, the Friends noticed a need to provide a space for seniors to gather and created the weekly Coffee and Conversation event. We would like to take this opportunity to invite all Manchester seniors to join us at this free event that takes place at the First Parish Hall every Monday at 9:45 a.m.
