Intersection Improvement work began work on April 17, 2020. Church Street reversed direction to improve intersection safety and add an additional parking spot. School St./Central St. and Union St./Beach St. will be redesigned to improve traffic flow and pedestrian safety, including better accommodation of those with mobility challenges. No net loss in parking spots will occur as a result of this process. The Intersection Plans were approved by the Board of Selectmen on December 2, 2019 after a two year design process.
