Manchester Woman’s Club Meeting March 17

Posted

The Manchester Woman’s Club (MWC) fifth meeting of 2019-2020 will begin at noon, Tuesday, March 17 at the First Parish Chapel Hall. Please do not arrive before 11:45 a.m. Parking is at a premium, so you are urged to carpool.  Another option is to call the Council on Aging (COA) to determine if the van is available.

Following the business meeting and luncheon, the afternoon program will feature Nancy Wells of Experience Travelz who will impart her passion for traveling and how to create a memorable and fulfilling travel experience. As she said, “It’s the actual experience of traveling and living life to its fullest, that are the memories we will always carry with us.”

The Club extends an invitation to the women of Manchester and greater Cape Ann area to this and all our meetings to consider joining the Club. MWC is a 112-year-old organization dedicated to giving-back to our community. Our motto is “To Will is to Do.” Our bragging rights include founding of the Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) in 1910; acquiring the Friendship Tree on the town green, 1965; and awarding two scholarships annually to local high school seniors. We hope you will consider joining as the pay back in community spirit and being part of a long-standing organization are well worth the effort. We hope to see you at our meeting.
