Manchester Affordable Housing Trust

The town’s Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) is governed by a board of seven trustees. Two of these are appointed by the town Moderator, on a staggered basis, for two-year terms, per article XXI, Sections 4 and 5 of the general by-laws of the town. This year one of the Moderator appointed positions is becoming open at the beginning of July. I am therefore asking for people who may have an interest in being appointed to this trust to contact me.

Applicants must, by law, be a resident of Manchester-by-the-Sea. If you choose to apply, please include a cover letter explaining your reason for wanting to be appointed, any visionary statement that you might find useful or appropriate, and a brief resume of experience related to the function of the Trust that would make you an asset to the board. Also include contact information, including a phone number so that I may get in touch with you directly.
