In cribbage, it’s possible to get a “29 Hand.” It’s not just very probable. In fact, the chances are one in 216,580 and that’s exactly what Manchester’s Heather MacDonald got last week at the Legion’s weekly cribbage league. See it here for yourself in this photo, which is “A rarity to say the least,” said league organizer Marc Kwiatkowski. See Heather’s hand here for yourself: there are 8 15’s in the hand for 16 points (2 points for each 15); 12 points for the 4-5’s; and one point for having the Jack (“Nobs”) of clubs in her hand that matched the 5 of clubs that was cut for a total of 29 points. Congratulations Heather MacDonald!
