It was a big night for Manchester at this year’s 26th Annual Cape Ann Chamber Irish Sweepstakes, held last Thursday at The James Pub & Provisions in Essex. The charity raffle is a popular annual affair. Raffle tickets are expensive—$100 each—but the chances to win big—a 50/50 chance—are also big due to a cap on ticket sales to just 400 tickets.
Now, Krystal Williams (pictured with Chamber 2025 President Jim Brown), is really from Gloucester but, as the beloved manager of MBTS’ Cape Ann Savings Bank, Manchester resident call her as their own. And Williams won big last week, taking took home $1,300.
The big $10,000 grand winner, however, is a Manchester son, Alan Gilson. Congratulations to both Alan and Krystal!
All proceeds fund the Cape Ann Foundation that funds local organizations in Rockport, Essex, Manchester and Gloucester.
