To the Editor,
Seeking stability for the regional school district, the undersigned former Manchester Essex School Committee representatives endorse and encourage our fellow voters in Essex and Manchester to vote in favor of the MERSD compromise budget to be presented at their respective town meetings of June 26 at 7:30 pm in Essex and June 28 at 6:30 pm in Manchester.
Our regional school district has been a cornerstone of our two communities for over 20 years and the District's achievements speak volumes to our towns' collective support of the students in our communities. Let’s continue to work together on this strong foundation and solve those issues that are now facing the district.
