Messrs. Tarr and James launched from their ship yard on Wednesday noon a handsome vessel of 250 tons, carpenter’s measurement for Cunningham and Thompson of Gloucester. She is 131 feet over all, 25 feet beam and 10 feet deep. Tug Eveleth of Gloucester came in and towed her round to her home port.
The Republican Town Committee held a largely attended meeting in Town Hall last week the chairman George Levesque presiding. Plans for the fall campaign were discussed and a line of action decided upon.
