Levi Melonson, foreman of the track gang of the B & N electric railroad has done a good job in raising the track and filling up the sidewalk on the eastern end of the long causeway.
One of the most interesting meetings for a long time at the Essex Grange was that of last week, which might be termed visitors night, a large number of guests being present from neighboring granges including Ipswich, Hamilton, Wenham, Newbury, Georgetown and Newton Junction, N.H. The entertainment program was furnished by members from the Georgetown and Granite State Granges including comedy skits, and miscellaneous readings and vocal numbers.
