Twice last week the electric cars left the rails in front of Elmer Andrews house on Main Street, causing a slight delay in the running of the cars.
The death of Francis Burnham, which took place Monday morning at the home of Robert Burnham with whom he spent the later days of his life, Essex loses her last surviving veteran of the Civil War and O.H.P. Sargent Post, G.A.R. passes out of existence. He was 92 years of age.
