The Essex Grave Robber

Tuesday, November 1 at 7 p.m.  Join us for this unique and fascinating lecture with local historian Rob Fitzgibbon as he digs up the inside story of Dr. Thomas Sewell, Essex’s very own, notorious grave robber of 1817.

Halloween Craft

Monday, October 24 at 3:30 p.m. Ages 3 and up. Stop in to make a Halloween Ghost.

Career Center

Tuesday, October 25 from 1-3:30 p.m.  Need your resume critiqued or reviewed, job help?  Stop in at the Mass Hire Career Center in the library.

Musical Storytime

Tuesdays, October 4 through November 8 from 10:30-11:30 a.m.  Join the fun as Ruthanne sings, shares instruments and more.  All ages welcome with caregiver.

Read to Jackson

Wednesdays, November 2, 16 and 30 from 5-6 p.m. for kindergarten and older.  Jackson and his brother Bowyer are certified search and rescue Labs.  Sign up for your slot to read to both dogs.

Teen Dinner and Dessert Book Group

Wednesday, October 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. for grades 7-12.  Grab your book “The Scorpio Races” by Maggie Stiefvater for a great discussion over dinner.

Story Hours Wednesdays

Wee Ones 9 a.m. Ages 0-2 years with caregiver.

Pre-School 10 a.m.  Ages 3-5 years with caregiver.
