The Pallazola family awaits the awarding of daughter Cagney’s diploma at MERHS’ 2020 graduation. Masks were required for entering the field and for marching seniors until everyone took their seats. Custodial staff and others made sure that seats were set up at the correct distance and they did a fabulous job of preparing for a less-than-normal ceremony.

MERHS Senior Lars Arntsenlooks very happy to be, at last, awarded his graduate diploma at Hyland Field on Friday. This reporter had the distinct privilege of knowing some of these students for their entire school career from Kindergarten through High School. Retiring 12 years ago this class was “Mr. Clark’s” last class.
The long-awaited, delayed graduation ceremony for Manchester Essex Regional High School Class of 2020 took place last weekend at Hyland Field in Manchester-by-the-Sea. Cricket Assistant Editor Paul Clark’s attendance was personal, and about more than the newspaper. After all, for 23 years he taught at Manchester Memorial School first with the academic talented classes and then as the school’s technology teacher. The Class of 2020 represents the last of the students that he taught. Here are all of Paul's photos from the event!
