Cape Ann Savings Bank announced this week that Diane Walker will join the bank as senior vice president and Chief Financial Officer.  As part of her role, Walker will serve on the bank’s executive team.

Walker has strong experience working at various banks in senior financial positions in the Merrimack Valley and Boston area.  She is a non-practicing CPA who began her career at KPMG before attaining leadership roles in the banking industry.  In each capacity, Walker served as chief financial officer, senior vice president, or president.

“Diane brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Bank and is a tremendous addition to the senior management team. Her proven track record in the community banking realm lends itself nicely to the bank’s mission and commitment to mutuality,” said Cape Ann Savings Bank President Marianne Smith.  “I look forward to working closely with Diane and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

Walker holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.  Raising her family in Reading, she was an active volunteer in their activities and enjoys traveling, the outdoors, and the beach. Cape Ann Savings Bank has a long history serving Cape Ann as a commercial and retail bank since 1846, with locations in Gloucester, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport.
