Primary Election: Tuesday, September 1, 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the Manchester Essex Regional High School. Proper COVID safety protocols will be in place.  

Vote by MailAll ballots must be returned by September 1, 8 p.m. If you do not want to return your ballot via the mail you can bring it to the Town Clerk’s office during regular business hours, during the early voting times or via the Town Hall drop box.  

Harbormaster Update: The MA Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) issued an amendment to the MA Phase 3 Recreational Boating Guidelines. All users on boat ramps, docks, piers etc, shall follow social distancing. Rafting-up or tying-up of boats is limited to no more than 3 vessels. All recreational boating is subject to the discretion of local officials, harbormasters, and law enforcement. All local rules, regulations, laws and U.S. Coast Guard requirements still apply. 

Phase 3 of MBTS Parks and Beaches: MBTS Beaches are open 7 days a week to residents only. Staffed from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. by Parks and Recreation and/or Manchester Police Department. Walk-on passes must be visible on every resident between 12 and 65 years old for admittance. A face covering is required when entering and exiting the beach ramp. Parking lot is open only to residents with current beach parking stickers. Please see the Town website to read the complete rules and guidelines.  

Unclaimed Funds: Pursuant to Mass General Law 200A, Jennifer Yaskell, Treasurer for the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea, hereby serves notices of names of persons or vendors appearing to be owners of funds held by the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA and deemed abandoned. Please visit Manchester.ma.us to see the list and make a claim.  

Town Hall Payment Drop Box: Installed at the rear of Town Hall by the Police Station Blue Door and monitored by a security camera. Please use this convenient box to drop payments off for any Town Bills. Please No Cash!
