Barbara J. (Brazier) Aiello, 83, of Danvers, formerly of Gloucester & Manchester-by-the-Sea, passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Linden in Danvers. She was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Aiello.  Born in Gloucester, she was the daughter of the late James and Ellen (Brown) Brazier.  She attended the Gloucester Public Schools and was a graduate of Gloucester High School.

Barbara was a dedicated Bank Teller for many years working at the Cape Ann Savings Bank's Gloucester and Manchester-by-the-Sea branches.

She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.  Barb was a member of Our Lady of Good Voyage Parish. 

She enjoyed the beach and all things summer, but Christmas was truly her favorite time of year.  Her most treasured memories were of the lunches with her friends and all the laughs they always shared together.

After eight-three years of perpetual motion, rest in peace.

She is survived by one daughter, Michel Aiello of Ipswich; one son, James Aiello and his wife Christine of Newbury, one grandchild, Gennalee Aiello and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by one son, J. Christopher Aiello, one sister, Janice Brazier Strout and three brothers, James, William and John Brazier.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Voyage Church, 142 Prospect Street, Gloucester, on Wednesday, October 18th, at 10:00 AM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester. Contributions may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the MSPCA or to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
