Back To School

And just like that, summer vacation is in the rearview mirror.

Students across the Manchester Essex Regional School District headed back to class Wednesday morning for the start of the 2026-27 school year, from first-day smiles at Essex Elementary and a lively welcome at Manchester Memorial to the decidedly more practiced arrivals of students at ME Regional Middle High School.

New backpacks, new teachers, new schedules—and, for two proud Essex students, outfits that leave absolutely no doubt about which grades they’re entering.  Welcome back!
