To the Editor,
As a life-long Manchester resident who worries about the future of our Town in these difficult times of affordable housing and climate change, I support Planning Board member Chris Olney for re-election. Chris has valuable experience in funding for affordable housing in ways that protect the “small town” that so desperately needs more housing for those who work here providing so many of our services but can no longer afford to live here.
The Planning Board has what is perhaps the most challenging work of any of our Town boards. It is so important that EXPERIENCE in the most critical areas of town planning is what we need most right now.
I believe that Chris Olney and Susan Philbrick both have that kind of experience and urge voters to focus on that aspect of what they offer in current and future planning for Manchester-by-the-Sea.
