To the Editor,
Many thanks to everyone who made the recent 23rd annual Manchester Essex Rotary / Landing Restaurant Golf Tournament such a rousing success. Held at The Meadow at Peabody Golf Course, the tournament raised over $7,000 for the Rotary Club’s Scholarship Fund. This year the fund is scheduled to give out over $13,000 in aid to local students planning to attend college or a technical training program. Since Its inception the tournament has raised over $100,000 which has gone directly to scholarships.
The Rotary Club wishes to heartedly thank everyone who sponsored a hole, donated a raffle prize or volunteered at the event which was attended by 82 golfers. The American Legion provided the backdrop for a wonderful prime rib dinner (catered by Nick & Lisa) which was enjoyed by all.

2nd Net - 15 under par 57 Bill Stone, Chris Nesbit, Max Nesbit
