The Manchester-Essex High School alpine ski team took part in the North Shore Ski League’s Interscholastic race on February 11th at Bradford Ski Area. The boys team came in fourth and the girls placed fifth among the eight teams competing.
The waiting took a little longer for the Manchester Essex girls basketball team this week. The regular season ended for the Hornets with a 56-44 win over Winthrop on Feb. 16, and the ME girls waited until the end of last week to hear what their postseason fate would be.
