Well into the 2020 season, the Manchester-Essex Boys Basketball has been electric.

“I have a great group of student athletes that work hard every day in practice and games,” said Coach St. Laurent, who is extremely pleased with the effort of the team through the first eight games. “They are great young men that always give it 'their all' every day.”

The team traveled to Masconomet on Tuesday, January 14 and host Georgetown Royals on Friday, January 17.  Against Georgetown, the game was touch and go for three quarters when the Hornets broke out and took the lead during the fourth quarter. An enthusiastic crowd showed up to cheer our boys on to the win, 62 – 58.

Coach St. Laurent stated that the fan attendance has been electric and they have loved the community support at home games. “The players and the coaching staff have loved the fans coming out and cheering on the Hornets,” said St. Laurent. “It really goes a long way and creates a fun atmosphere for all in attendance.”
