M-E Hornets Basketball Season at 7-0 After Win Against North Reading Tuesday

The boys basketball team improved to 7–0 with the M-E Hornets varsity team ME Prevails 66-52 Tuesday, January 7th against North Reading. 

This, after the team pulled out a double overtime thriller win (76–74) over Bishop Fenwick on Sunday, January 5. The boys team now has wins over Georgetown, Ipswich, Rockport, Hamilton-Wenham, Danvers and Bishop Fenwick. Over the Christmas break, the team won the Bank Gloucester holiday tournament held at Gloucester High School. The teams scoring leaders thus far are: Kellen Furse, Jack Shaw and Mason Paccone. The team has been able to put tremendous defensive pressure on their opponents. Leading these efforts have been AJ Palazola, Lars Arnsten and Alex Furse. Next up the boys play North Reading on Tuesday, January 7 at home and Hamilton Wenham on Friday, January 9 at home.
