When she rose to be the 2021 president of the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce last month, Susan Gould-Coviello was just the second president from Essex in the Chamber’s 99-year history, and the eighth woman.  She's plans to work hard to make this year a transition for the Chamber, into the future. 

On Thursday, October 15th the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce along with Eli G. Boling, Chair of Manchester’s Board of Selectman, joined Craft Sportswear USA for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the grand opening of the showroom and USA headquarters to 6 School Street in Manchester.

 This week the Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce announced that Cape Ann Small Business Week 2020 will be celebrated this week, September 21 through Friday, September 25, in conjunction with National Small Business Week.

There are many impacts of the pandemic.   Our local businesses have suffered a body blow as they were forced to close for the spring.  While they are now allowed to open, making up for the lost income is a tall order.  All of us can help by refocusing many of our purchases locally.
