Manchester-Essex Rotary Club “Run for the Roses” Raffle

Posted

Usually the Manchester-Essex Rotary Club has several major fundraising events, including the Kentucky Derby Auction and the Red, White, and Blue Pancake Breakfast, the proceeds of which go to scholarships, civic enhancements, and are distributed to local organizations such as Open Door and Beverly Bootstraps.  Due to COVID-19, however, these events have been cancelled, and their “Run for the Roses” Raffle will be the first fundraiser of the year.

The raffle will feature three prizes: $7,500 for the first-place winner, $1,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place.  Tickets are $100 each, and only 300 have been printed, which makes the odds one to one hundred to win one of the three cash prizes.  All proceeds will go to the community.  To purchase a ticket, please contact a Manchester-Essex Rotarian.  Mike Storella can be reached at m.storella@comcast.net, 781-710-2475 or Chris Shea can be contacted at cknsshea@aol.com, 508-843-4979. The drawing will be held September 5 as a Facebook Live event.

The Rotary Club also invites guests to join their weekly Zoom meetings.  To join, contact President Sean Zahn.
