The Manchester Club announced this week that Cagney Pallazola, Sophia Pallazola, Annika Smith, and Edward J. Field IV are the recipients of its annual scholarship awards. Additionally, after the passing of longtime club member William Hatcher last year, a onetime scholarship fund in his name was awarded this year to Elizabeth Athanas. Also, in Manchester Club news: The Richard J. Lysiak Memorial Golf tournament is set for Monday, September 14 at the Beverly Golf and Tennis Club. There will be a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. The $160 per person fee covers golf, golf carts, coffee and donuts, awards ceremony and a lobster and steak bake, hopefully at the American Legion (pandemic permitting).
