Support Todd Fitzgerald As Police Chief

Posted

To the Editor,

I would like to express my support for Interim Chief Todd J. Fitzgerald to be appointed Chief of Police. Todd has been a full-time member of the Manchester Police Department for 27 years; during this time Todd has filled every position within the police department, assuming all duties and responsibilities associated with each position. Todd is currently holding the position of Interim Chief, a position which he has previously held for a total of thirteen months. During his careerTodd has maintained an ongoing pursuit of training and education in law enforcement. Todd had earned many degrees and certifications, the most recent in 2019, graduating from the FBI LEEDA Supervisory Leadership Institute. He received the FBI LEEDA trilogy award for leadership training. I feel the most important of all of these qualifications is Todd's long association and knowledge of our community.
