To the Editor,
Yesterday I visited Pleasant Grove Cemetery and discovered someone’s household trash strewn over the grass and graves there. I was both sad and angry that someone is so petty as to use the cemetery to dispose of their garbage. If it is a case of insufficient funds, perhaps the town has a program to offer reduced rates on trash bags. If it is just selfishness, perhaps the police can keep an eye out for the miscreant. I know this is a small irritant in a world of bigger problems, but someone has to clean up the mess. We have a beautiful, clean, litter-free community, please let’s keep it that way.
